We have lowered our particle count cleanliness alarm levels to align with today's widely accepted fuel cleanliness requirements, including the standard set by the Worldwide Fuel Charter for modern High Pressure and Common Rail injected engines (18/16/13). This decision is based on an extensive study of nearly 29,000 fuel samples collected by our lab since 2020. Due to this change, cleanliness levels that were previously considered acceptable may now be flagged as elevated. We are also updating our failure recommendations to more accurately reflect in-service experiences.
